FAQ
How random are the numbers?
The tool uses your browser's crypto.getRandomValues with unbiased sampling. Every possible value in the selected range has an equal chance of being drawn.
Are Min and Max included?
In Integer mode, both bounds can appear. In Decimal mode, Max is excluded; values are multiples of the step set by Decimal places, starting at or above Min.
Why can't I generate enough numbers without repeats?
The range must contain at least as many different values as the number in How many. Widen the range, lower How many, or turn on Allow duplicates.
Does changing Sort generate new numbers?
Sort only reorders the current numbers, and Separator only changes their formatting. After changing Min, Max, How many, Type or Decimal places, click Generate to apply those settings.
Are my random numbers stored or uploaded?
Numbers are generated in your browser and are not stored or uploaded; only your options are saved in localStorage. Site analytics receives usage events with the tool slug, not your numbers or range.
