FAQ
Do these QR codes expire?
The codes have no built-in expiration: their content is stored in the code itself, with no redirect or scan tracking. A linked page still needs to remain available, and Wi-Fi details need to stay valid.
Are my links and Wi-Fi passwords uploaded?
The tool creates QR codes in your browser without sending links, text or Wi-Fi passwords to a server. Content fields are not saved; only your selected options are stored in localStorage.
Can I add a logo or change the colors?
This generator produces black-on-white codes only. Logos, custom colors, frames and different module shapes are not supported.
Which error correction level should I use?
M is the default and a good fit for most codes. The levels recover about 7% (L), 15% (M), 25% (Q) or 30% (H) of damaged data. Higher levels make the code denser and reduce its data capacity: L allows up to 2,953 UTF-8 bytes, compared with 1,273 at H. Choose H or Q for printed codes that may get scuffed, and L for long content.
Why is my PNG smaller than the size I selected?
The tool uses whole-pixel modules to avoid smoothing. The actual image size is the largest whole-pixel multiple of the grid, including its white border, that fits your selected target.
