FAQ
What's the difference between AP, APA, Chicago and MLA title case?
In this tool, AP and APA produce identical results: articles, conjunctions and listed prepositions of up to three letters stay lowercase (so and yet included). Chicago and MLA lowercase all listed prepositions, even longer ones. Chicago capitalizes so and yet, while MLA lowercases them. The first and last words are always capitalized, and the tool does not detect parts of speech.
Does sentence case recognize abbreviations and proper names?
It does not recognize abbreviations such as Dr. or i.e., or detect proper names. Review the result for sentence breaks after abbreviations and names that need capitals.
How do I convert text to camelCase or snake_case?
Open For developers to see all eight programming formats, each with its own copy button. These formats split words at punctuation and camelCase boundaries while keeping line breaks. They are unavailable for text over 2 MB.
Is my text uploaded or saved?
Conversion runs in your browser; the tool does not upload or save your text. Only your selected mode and option settings are saved locally. The page uses Google Analytics for tool events without including your text.
