Can I convert an HTML file or email to a TXT file?
Click Upload to open an .html, .htm, .xhtml, .txt, or .eml file up to 10 MB, then click Download to save the result as a UTF-8 .txt file. For .eml files, the converter uses the first HTML part, or the first plain-text part if there is no HTML.
Does it remove scripts and styles and decode HTML entities?
Script and style elements are removed with their contents, and HTML comments are omitted. Entities such as & and become an ampersand and a regular space.
Can I extract text from a web page URL?
The converter does not fetch web pages by URL. Paste the page's HTML or upload a saved HTML file instead.
Is my HTML uploaded or saved?
Conversion runs in your browser without uploading your HTML or text, and embedded scripts and images are not executed or loaded. The tool does not save your input or output; it remembers only option settings. Site analytics events do not include your HTML or text.
